Import and Export your data
As a privacy-conscious app, Money Wallet offers the ability to export, backup, delete, and alter your data in widely recognized formats.
Import
You can import transactions and transfers in these formats:

Export
You can export as:
- JSON (full backup) instructions
- CSV (easy to edit and use in scripts)
- Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (if you like to make charts in Excel)
Open the app's Left menu > Settings > Database > Export data. Select the format you want to use. The export will produce one row per transaction, and transfers will become 2 transactions (see double entry accounting). You can filter by a date range and wallets. By default, the columns are time, category, money, wallet and description. You can also add event, people, place and note.
